Community Health Worker
Jessica has been with Spectrum since June 2019. Prior to that, Jessica attended Truman State University and volunteered as a Health Educator for the Aging Studies and Interdisciplinary Health Partners organization with A.T. Still University, collaborating with other health professionals on providing whole-person, patient-centered health education services.
Jessica graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. majoring in Health Science with a concentration on Public Health. She is currently finishing her M.S. in Integrated Health and Wellness combined with a certificate in Lifestyle Medicine with Creighton University.
Jessica , Community Health Worker for North Missouri, serves as health liaison, patient advocate, and resource navigator for Adair, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Linn, Macon, Marion, Putnam, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby, and Sullivan counties with our Access For All and The Right Time programs.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys kayaking and volunteering as a cat foster for her local rescue, Field of Dreams Rescue, in Kirksville, Missouri.
Jessica enjoys her work as a Community Health Worker, especially when it aligns with her first passion, health education. She believes an educated patient is an empowered patient.
Jessica is the daughter of a 6th generation farming family in Northeast Missouri and believes everyone deserves access to affordable health care services. She is proud to serve the communities she was raised in to give back to her neighbors.
