Spectrum Health Care In-Person Meetings and Appointment Updates
October 20, 2020
Dear Friends, Clients, Patients, and Visitors,
As we move into the colder months, we will be spending more time indoors and near one another. Additionally, in Columbia, we have now sent pre-k – 5th-grade students back to in-person learning. With these changes we can anticipate an increase in COVID-19 cases, even if only a temporary jump.
The City of Columbia has also extended its city-wide health order until November 3rd, 11:59 pm. You may find the full ordinance on their website. This ordinance continues through Election Day, so it is essential to note that you must wear a face mask or covering to vote.
With the above considerations, Spectrum Health Care will continue to mandate masks for all staff, patients, clients, and visitors until a viable and safe vaccine is available. If you are unable or unwilling to wear a mask, your appointment must either be postponed or be accessed virtually. If you would like to discuss the agency policy, feel free to reach out via our website or phone.
We are here and ready to serve, problem solve, and make all of us healthier. Your health has always been and will always be at the core of our mission; and as such, we will continue to do what is proven most effective to keep everyone safe and healthy.
As always – Best Health, Stay Safe,
