Each year on the first Friday in June, people participate in National Donut Day in the United States. The holiday is more than just a tribute to the wonder treat, it also honors the Salvation Army Lassies, the women that served coffee and donuts to the soldiers during World War I. #NationalDonutDay #NationalDoughnutDay
